Real-Time Mobile Video Monitoring

Technology is a great thing – if used when and where needed. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should do something. Trying to put a square a peg in a round hole has never worked. But now there is a technological solution to a long standing problem. That problem is ensuring that your premises are secure, really secure, when you’re not there. Particularly any location with outside assets such as Car/Truck Dealers, Construction Sites, Heavy Equipment Dealers, Specialty Metal Manufactures, Scrap Yards, Boat Yards, Etc.

Most locations have an Alarm System. Most locations also have the system monitored, usually by some Monitoring Station that is hundreds of miles away. Most locations also assume that when the System activates the local Police will respond. How soon and to what effect is problematic. And, if it happens to be a false alarm then one can be assured that Municipal False Alarm Fines are sure to follow.

The problem with this “accepted approach” is that it’s totally passive. At best it will tell you something happened. Wouldn’t it be far better to have a system that will prevent something before it happens. Obviously the answer is yes!

Now Metroguard Security has brought together the appropriate video technology and our existing mobile 24x7 On-Site Alarm Response function to ensure your security, reduce the use/waste of scarce Police resources, and eliminate False Alarm Fines. This security service is Metroguard’s Real-Time Mobile Video Monitoring Service (RTMVM). Here’s how it works.

Metroguard Inc Security Services

All Metroguard vehicles are equipped with a Mobile Video Monitoring terminal.

When your Alarm System activates we will be notified, in real time, and communicate instantly with your currently installed, suitable, CCTV System. In the event that your existing CCTV system is not suitable (although most are) Metroguard can update your system for minimal cost.

Upon receipt of the alarm condition our Licensed Security Officer(s) will be able to remotely survey the premises and either verify that the alarm condition is false, respond immediately (with keys), and/or dispatch local Police if evidence is seen that confirms the alarm is not false and criminal activity is actually taking place. Video documentation is always captured to assist in resolution of the event. This can be made available to you, in real time, or to be viewed at your convenience.

There are also options are available such as: Two-way audio, periodic or random virtual tours, missing object identification, Etc.
